City Gas offer now offer Warm Front Grants for people over the age of 60. This is simply a rebate of £300.00 for the repair or replacement of their boiler which will assist greatly in getting the boiler works needed.

About the Warm Front scheme

Since 2001 Warm Front has assisted thousands of senior residents receive insulation and heating installations to make their homes warmer and more sustainable in terms of energy. On Monday 5th December 2005, the Chancellor made a public statement regarding Government's plan to offer a £300 grant to pensioners and seniors who would not otherwise be eligible for Warm Front.

Qualifications

If you are over 60, own or rent your home and do not qualify for a Warm Front Grant because you do not receive a relevant benefit, you may be eligible for a £300 rebate.

This rebate is available to help towards repairing or replacing an inoperable system or installing a new central heating system such as our Viessmann and Worcester Bosch boilers where there is none existing at the property. The cost of work must be over £300 Inc VAT and is only available in English Local Authority Areas.
